Free Introductory Lesson

An introductory jitterbug/east coast swing lesson is offered for beginners during the Thursday dances and at many SSDS events, to get them started. There is no additional charge for the introductory lesson.

Regular Lessons

In this page we try to tabulate all swing lessons in the Syracuse area which are open to public. When you click on a lesson, you will be redirected to the website of its instructor. These lessons are not organized or sponsored by SSDS. Lessons table is updated when we get information from the instructors. Please contact instructors directly if you have any question or need more information.

It pays to take a dance lesson, in more ways than one. If you paid for a dance lesson in the Syracuse area, you get in that Thursday's dance for $3 rather than $5; our way of supporting people who invest in their dancing.
