Inn Complete Dance

The last Inn Complete Dance of this school year is this Friday, May 18, 2012, 8pm-12am

This could be the very last Inn Complete Dance. The manager brought to our attention that during our dances they spend more on staff wages and make less money even with a house full of dancers all night, than a regular Friday night. I have a challenge for everyone who will come Friday night: remember that you pay nothing to get in. Compared to other Friday dances, you are saving at least $8. Make a point of spending at least that much at the bar. You don't drink alcohol? Then get something to eat, with a soda. If you see someone who sneak in an outside drink (yes, it happens), slap that cheapskate and don't dance with them all night ;-) If you really can't afford it give me a secret handshake, I'll be happy to buy you a drink :) By the way, they are on summer schedule and opening up that night just for us. So, come, have fun, and show your support on the dance floor and at the bar.

The Inn Complete Dance is sponsored by SSDS and SU Swing Club. No dances in the summer. We hope to resume in the fall.

SSDS deejay Can Isik will play mostly WCS, ECS, Lindy, with hustle, cha, foxtrot, salsa, two step, waltz, merengue, tango, night club two step, bachata thrown in, from the latest contemporary tunes back to timeless classics. If you'd like to hear a particular genre, just ask for it. No announcements, no intermission, no lessons, no admission fee, just lotsa fun.

Inn Complete has all wood floors, parking for 48 cars right outside, additional safe parking within a block. There is a bar with reasonable prices and pub food if you are hungry. Online menu available.

In order to make sure dances are safe and fun for everyone, please observe the following rules:
- please change into dry & clean shoes as soon as you enter the Inn;
- when you are not dancing please keep outside the dance area to give traveling room for dances like foxtrot, two step, and waltz.

Directions: Take Rte 81 to exit 17, [from North: turn right at S State St]/[from South: turn right at S Salina St], in 0.2 mi turn right at E Colvin St, after 1 mi turn right at Skytop Rd., after 0.7 mi bear right for Inn Complete parking. After 8pm, cars may need to stop at the South Campus entry gate on Skytop Road. Tell them you are going to the Swing Dance at Inn Complete, and you will be allowed past the gate.
